Shandell is an acclaimed Music Artist. She began seeing professional success around 2000, with the release of her first critically acclaimed work " Dedication To Baltimore". She has overcome countless obstacles on the way up, including the death of her father in 2020. Through these down moments Shandell has continued to work hard and use her trauma as her motivation for music.

At an early age Shandell grew a love of music, some of her musical influences range from LL Cool J, James Brown, Michael Jackson, TLC, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, and more. Shandell's Most recent release called "T.O.E (Trauma Over Everything} was a self-reflection body of work. She speaks about how in the music industry she dealt with sexual harassment with industry professionals, the loss of her father, self love, and healing.
